Promoting singles across global media outlets
Every time I release a new single, I feel like it only gets attention in my local area. I’ve posted on socials, but that doesn’t really take the music very far. I’ve read that some campaigns manage to reach not just radio but also press, news sites, and even TV affiliates worldwide. That sounds like a huge step up compared to just hoping local blogs write about it. Does anyone know how singles can be promoted across such a wide network effectively?

From what I’ve seen, wide promotion works best because it multiplies exposure. A song being played on radio and then appearing on news sites or social feeds at the same time gives it credibility. It shows that the artist is being taken seriously on more than one platform, which often catches the attention of both fans and industry contacts.
